North Hall rolls over Warriors

MURRAYVILLE - Everything North Hall touched turned to gold Friday night against White County. Everything the Warriors touched turned into a turnover.

The Trojans scored three touchdowns in the first quarter, 36 points by halftime and finished with a 50-0 win to start subregion play.

Following an interception within the first two minutes of the game, North Hall set the tone early. On the first play from scrimmage, quarterback Fabian Jackson found Kyle Davis for a 32-yard touchdown pass. A fake extra point then turned into a two-point conversion and a very early 8-0 lead.

North Hall (5-1) went on to take advantage of six first half turnovers from White County (1-5) to take the big halftime lead. Highlights also included a 15-yard touchdown run from Hunter Wolf and a 42-yard touchdown pass from backup quarterback Jess Gravitt to Seth Satterfield.

Wolf finished with 115 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He's rushed for nearly 300 yards in his last two games.

White County finished the game with 183 total yards, including 58 rushing yards from Jesse Brown. Quarterback Tyler Norman had over 100 yards passing. But it was seven turnovers as a team that sank the Warriors.

The Trojans' impressive blowout win seems even that more impressive, coming on the heels of last week's big win over Flowery Branch.

White County is off next week, while North Hall travels to Ellijay to take on Gilmer.
