90-day road project beginning in east Gainesville

GAINESVILLE - A road construction project - expected to last well into summer - was set to begin Wednesday at a busy east Gainesville intersection.

The work at the intersection of Ramsey and White Sulphur roads is expected to be completed within 90 days, according to officials with the Gainesville Public Works Department.

They say that despite delays that will be caused by the work, both roads will remain open at all times.
