Clarkesville woman finishes 3rd in egg recipe contest

ATLANTA - A recipe for "Baked Eggs and Shrimp with Almonds" has made a Habersham County woman $250 richer.

Virginia Webb of Clarkesville picked up the check for placing third in this year's Egg Recipe Contest, sponsored by the Georgia Egg Commission.

First place and a $1,000 check went to Janet Gilbert of Danielsville for "Key Lime Coco-Maca Dessert Bars Supreme."

Shelia Anglin of Dallas placed second and won $500 for "Four Meat Tropical Salad."
