Forsyth citizens group hires attorney

CUMMING - The Forsyth County citizens group formed a few weeks ago over a dispute with the county school board has hired an attorney.

The Forsyth County Hometown Education Reform Organization, or HERO, says attorney David White of Atlanta will review possible Sunshine Law violations by the board regarding changes in the time for the start of the school day.

HERO says it began looking for legal advice after receiving a
less-than-satisfactory explanation for the decision to change school start times.
