CLEVELAND - A Cleveland man was killed and a Gainesville man seriously injured Tuesday night in a wreck involving a pickup.
The state patrol says it happened about 10:00 on Asbestos Road about four miles north of Cleveland.
Killed was the driver of the pickup, 23-year-old David Adam Nix of Cleveland; seriously injured was 26-year-old Gregory Ledford of Gainesville, who was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
State troopers say the pickup ran off the road, struck a road sign, overturned and hit a tree. Ledford was thrown about 100 feet from the overturning vehicle.
