RABBITTOWN - East Hall's basketball season doesn't officially start until Saturday November 19th.
But the defending Class AA state champion boys team will get things started with a bang before the first tip Monday night with a preseason showdown with defending Class AAA champ Dunwoody at the East Hall gym.
It is the only matchup in the preseason between two state champions from last year.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. with the girls game. The boys game will follow at 7:30 p.m.
East Hall will be led by seniors Frank Davis and Lee Coleman and junior Walter Hill while Dunwoody will sport a new look with former Flowery Branch standout Zac Swansey, who transfered during the offseason.
Tickets will be $5 at the gate.
