Gainesville travels to Carnesville for make-up with Lions

CUMMING - Both the Gainesville boys and girls basketball teams will travel to Carnesville Monday night to take on Franklin County in a make-up game from last week.

Meanwhile, the Lady Red Elephants opened their season Saturday with a 50-32 win over St. Francis in the South Forsyth Tournament.

Kita Waller led the Lady Elephants (1-0) with 18 points. Lauren Darnell added 15 points and 14 rebounds.
