Union boys, North Hall girls look to defend titles

CLEVELAND - The North Hall girls and Union County boys will try to defend their United Community Tip-off Classic titles beginning Monday at the White County gym.

Habersham Central and White County also are looking for the tournament titles in both boys and girls play.

North Hall won last year's girls title beating White County 78-72 in overtime in the finals.

The Union County boys won last year's tournament beating North Hall 86-83 in the finals.

In other prep action on Monday, Pickens County will play host to the Pickens Thanksgiving Tournament.

Along with Pickens, Cherokee, Gordon Central and Armuchee will vy for the tournament titles.
