Commerce liquor vote March 15

By by Ken Stanford
COMMERCE - Voters in Commerce will be asked to vote on legalizing liquor-by-the-drink sales and an sales tax extension in a couple of months.

Both will be on a referendum ballot March 15, according to resolutions adopted recently by the Commerce City Council.

The sales tax question will be a countywide vote and involves a proposed six-year extension of the Jackson County Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax.
