'Clean and green' campaign targets litter

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville Marshal's Office is taking an active role in the city's Clean and Green Campaign.

The office has committed to assist with the education and enforcement aspects of a new emphasis on attacking the litter problem in the city.

The campaing will target not only litter, but also overgrown lots, abandoned vehicles, dilapidated houses and storage of junk salvage material inside the city limits.
