Rudolph Clark dead at 88

GAINESVILLE - Funeral services are scheduled Thursday for a well-known Hall County poultry and dairy farmer, soil conservationist, and former county commissioner.<br> <br> Rudolph Clark, 88, of 649 Ridgewood Ave., Gainesville, died Tuesday at Limestone Heritage Nursing Center following a period of decllining health.<br> <br> Clark was a retired state Agriculture Field Forces Coordinator for 37 north Georgia counties. <br> <br> He helped found the Georgia Milk Producers Association; helped organize the Hall County Farm Bureau; and, served for as a supervisor of the Upper Chattahoochee River Soil and Water Conservation District. In 1983, Clark helped organize the Hall County Soil and Water Conservation District and served as its chairman until his health began failing.<br> <br> He was a Hall County Commissioner from 1957 until 1961.<br> <br> The funeral will be held in Gainesville at 11:00 Thursday at the chapel of Little-Davenport Funeral Home.<br> <br> (For more on the life of Rudolph Clark, see the AccessNorthGa obituary page.)<br> <br> <br>
