11Brenau students from Hall earn scholarships

GAINESVILLE - Eleven Brenau University students who are Hall County residents were awarded scholarships and other honors Thursday at this year's Honors Convocation ceremony at the school.

Stephanie Ferguson, a theatre arts sophomore from Gainesville, was awarded the Excellence in Writing (Honors) Scholarship.

Kristin Kole, a senior history/political science major from Flowery Branch received the Outstanding Graduate in History/Political Science.

Natalie Lance, a senior early childhood education major from Oakwood, received the Nancy Wofford Moore Scholarship.

Emilee Lawson, a junior early childhood education major from Gainesville, received the William Sterling & Catherine May Scholarship.

Alison Morgan, a studio art senior from Gainesville, earned the Outstanding Senior Studio Art Graduate.

Judith Pannell, a music performance junior from Gainesville, received the Outstanding Music Student.

Tiffany Phagan, a junior nursing student from Gainesville, earned the AFLAC Scholarship.

Allison Brown, an occupational therapy senior from Flowery Branch, received the Taylor Miller OT award.

Angela Bisenius, an environmental science sophomore from Clermont, received the Norton Family Memorial Scholarsip.

Brittney Freeman, an occupational therapy junior from Gainesville, received the kay and Doug Ivester Scholarship.

Rebecca Nix, a psychology junior from Flowery Branch, also received the Kay and Doug Ivester Scholarship.
