Gainesville Parks & Recreation program recognized

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Parks and Recreation's Youth Athletics Program has again been honored for Excellence in Youth Sports by the National Alliance for Youth Sports and Athletic Business Magazine.

The Excellence in Youth Sports Award recognizes outstanding youth sports programs for a superior job in conducting diverse activities in the programs.

Since 2001 Gainesville Parks and Recreation has earned "Honorable Mention" for 4 consecutive years and 4 out of 5 years since the inception of the award in 2000.
