New director of development at Brenau

GAINESVILLE- Brenau University has a new director of development.

Ron Hill has been working as director of development for the University of Georgia School of Law.

His prior posts included working in development for both Georgia Southwestern State University and Florida State University.

Hill acknowledges that such jobs - which entail fundraising - are challenging in the current economic climate, but he says he looks forward to working at Brenau.

"It is critical that Brenau thrive so that it can expand its excellent work in higher education."

"Ron has an extensive background in fundraising for higher education and we are thrilled to have him join our team," said Jim Braco, vice president for institutional advancement.
