BRISTOL, TENNESSEE - Kurt Busch, who was punched in the face by Jimmy Stewart last week, captured the Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Kevin Harvick was second and rookie Jamie McMurray ran third.

Despite a chipped tooth and swollen nose Spencer gave him, Busch posted his fourth win of the season and third in the last four races at Bristol.
Dawsonville's Bill Elliott finished 16th after starting 25th, and was on the lead lap at the finish.
