Ethics complaint against Hall commissioner still unresolved

DOUGLASVILLE - The ethics complaint filed against Republican Hall County commissioner Deborah Lynn last fall by the chairman of the Hall County Democratic Committee remains unresolved.

Teddy Lee, executive director of the ethics commission said from his Douglasville office Monday morning, says the matter was carried over by the commission Friday to the next ethics commission meeting. Lee said that meeting tentatively set for mid-October.

Lee says the commission discovered during its investigation that Lynn had filed her June 2003 campaign and finance disclosure report two months late - and, for that, she has been fined $75.
