'Boil water' advisory posted for parts of White County

CLEVELAND - The City of Cleveland has issued a " Boil Water Notice" for its water customers who are on Highway 129 south of the Piggly Wiggly shopping center.

Tom Guy, the city's Water Distribution Operator, says the advisory was issued following a 6-inch water main break which may have contaminated the water supply in the affected area.

Guy said it may be a couple of days before the advisory is lifted, and that won't be done until water samples can be collected and tested.
