CLEVELAND - A 29 year old Lawrenceville man has been charged with driving under the influence and vehicular homicide in the death of his seven year old son who was killed in an ATV accident near Helen over the weekend.
Melvin Kornegay The Third was killed while riding with his father on the four wheeler on Satterfield Road near Helen Saturday evening.
Georgia State Troopers believe Melvin Kornegay Junior was attempting to climb a dirt mound when the four-wheel ATV overturned. The younger Kornegay died while on the way to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
