New residence hall opens at NGCSU

DAHLOENGA - North Georgia College & State University students has opened its first apartment-style residence hall.

Members of the Baptist Student Union volunteered their time to help students and their families lug items to their rooms.

John H. Owen Hall, on Morrison-Moore Parkway at Alumni Drive, houses 314 beds for North Georgia students and is completely filled for fall semester.

The building is named in honor of the 12th president of the university, John H. Owen, and will be officially dedicated next spring.
