CUMMING - Shelton Lee, the man accused of sexual abuse at a Forsyth County nursing home, appeared at a bond hearing Friday.
Assistant District Attorney Penny Penn opposed any release. She argued the seriousness of the charges along with Lee's questionable living and work history made him a flight risk.
Lee's defense attorney tried to cast doubt on the case against his client at a hearing Friday.
Lee, who has plead not guilty, testified he had prospects for places to live and work.
The judge denied bail.
Lee's case could go to trial next month.
