Gainesville Dental Group hosting annual 'Dentists with Heart' event March 18
Gainesville Dental Group will open its doors to deliver free dental care through its annual event, Dentists with Heart, on Friday, March 18, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. In its 8th year, the event will be held at 1026 Thompson Bridge Road. Gainesville Dental Group hosts the event each year as a way to give back to community members.

56 youth, 85 animals compete in Jackson EMC's Quality Beef Show competiton
Representing Future Farmers of America chapters (FFA) and 4-H clubs from Banks, Barrow, Franklin, Hall, Jackson, Madison and Oglethorpe counties, 56 young people gathered to compete for awards, ribbons and cash prizes in the 2016 Jackson Electric Membership Corporation’s 47th Annual Quality Beef Show.
