Game On with Katie B. Davis

Jonathan Hughes, a former Flowery Branch Falcon, was selected as the number 68 pick in the 2015 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft this past week. The Flowery Branch ace was scouted by several MLB teams including the Atlanta Braves before being taken number 68 overall by Baltimore. After receiving the big news, Hughes sat down with Katie B. Davis on the Tuesday 6/9 edition of Game On.

Lee McCoy is a golfer for the University of Georgia golf program. McCoy entering his senior year with the Dawgs golf team. The former Habersham Central Raider had an incredibly successful season with UGA, and following the end of the season sat down with Katie B. Davis on the Thursday 6/4 edition of Game On. He also broke some interesting news that you won't want to miss!

Andrew Hall is the writer for the popular sports talk blog, Dude You Crazy. Originally a Tennessee Native, Hall traded his Orange and White for Georgia Red and Black after attending the University following high school. His love for college football led him to create the blog Dude You Crazy. Katie B. Dawson County's Madison Caldwell shot a 73 en route to a Class AAA State Championship on Monday May 18., 2015. Cladwell claimed her crown after years of hard work. Cladwell joined the May 20, 2015 edition of Game On with Katie B. Davis to discuss her championship effort.

Jim Myers is the Head Coach of the Riverside Military Academy Eagles Track and Field Team. His athletes had a strong week competing in the GHSA Georgia Olympics from May 14-16, 2015. Myers joined the May 18 edition of Game On with Katie B. Davis to discuss Riverside Military's Track and Field program.

Lumpkin County's Austin Pierce competed in the Georgia Olympics from May 14-16. Pierce claimed a state title the class AAA 100 Meter race with a time of 10.78 seconds. Austin Pierce appeared on the May 18, 2015 Edition of Game on with Katie B. Davis.

On May 16, West Hall High School claimed their first ever soccer state title in Class AAA. It was actually the first ever state title in any sport for West Hall. West Hall's Championship effort was lead by seniors Sammy Coto, Ramsis Martinez, and Edwardo Magana. Katie B. Davis interview the three seniors on the May 21, 2015 Edition of Game On

On May 16, 2015 Commerce's Jose Rodriguez won the Class A 800-meter state championship with a time of 2:1.35, shaving five seconds off of his qualifying time. Rodriguez joined the May 18, 2015 edition of Game On with Katie B. Davis to talk about the feat.
