Jess Tamplin scored 23 points, and Kinley Hawkins had 20 to lead the Flowery Branch girls basketball team past Johnson, 56-34 on the road Friday night.

The 2023-24 boys basketball campaign wasn’t exactly one to write home about across the area.

It’s almost THAT TIME OF YEAR again. With softball and volleyball already complete, and football heading toward the playoffs, attention will soon turn to basketball as the fall season gives way to winter.
