NASCAR has certainly proven itself adept at managing a schedule in the ever-changing COVID-19 restricted conditions – racing at a slate of venues both intriguing and competitive.

It was a busy weekend in the Irish Hills as the NASCAR Cup Series ran a double header at Michigan International Speedway.

Christopher Bell is returning to Joe Gibbs Racing and will drive the No. 20 Toyota in the Cup Series in 2021.

Kevin Harvick won just about everything he could in a stellar weekend at Michigan International Speedway, although fittingly, Denny Hamlin was the last driver to pressure him.

Kevin Harvick’s victory in Sunday’s Consumers Energy 400 at Michigan International Speedway gave the No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford team a weekend race sweep.

Kevin Harvick forced his way past Kyle Busch, then fended off hometown threat Brad Keselowski. It takes a lot to beat Harvick these days — especially in Michigan.

In ways both literally and figuratively the NASCAR Cup Series field saw red most of Saturday afternoon – Kevin Harvick’s red-colored No. 4 Ford, that is.

Ford is on a nice little winning streak at Michigan International Speedway, although it may not feel that way to Brad Keselowski.
