The CARS Racing Tour reached the halfway point of its inaugural season with fireworks and excitement at Tri-County Motor Speedway in Hudson, N.C. on Friday night, as Quin Houff took the Super Late Model feature win, while Brayton Haws won the Late Model Stock feature.

Trey Gibson led from the start of Saturday night’s Late Model Stock feature at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Easley, S.C. and drove away to score his sixth division victory of 2015.

Ray Cook wrote his name in the record book with an impressive run to capture the victory in the third annual Scott Sexton Memorial for the Southern All Star Racing Series Saturday night at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn.

“It was a crazy one,” said Christopher Clanton after he earned his first win behind the wheel of a Legends car in the Allred Family Dentistry Semi-Pro/Young Lions Feature in week 2 of Thursday Thunder action at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Confirming what had been widely discussed this past weekend at Michigan, NASCAR announced on Tuesday it will implement significant changes to the current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rules package for the July 11 Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway.

Derek Hagar, from Marion, Ark. held off Tim Crawley on a green-white-checkered finish Saturday night at the Tennessee National Raceway in Hohenwald, Tenn. to collect the win in the USCS Sprint Car Series Spring Speed Xplosion 2015 A-main.

Michael Page moved to the lead for the final time just past the halfway point of Saturday night’s Super Late Model feature at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Ga., and drove away to score the victory.

R.A. Brown and Justin Sorrow both made trips to victory lane on Friday night, as they split dual Late Model Stock features at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, S.C.

Race fans got their money’s worth Saturday night at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Ga., as 19-year-old Austin Horton beat 17-year-old Joey Armistead to the finish line by less than three feet to score the “Summer Sizzler” Limited Late Model victory.
