Gordon set to break Rudd’s consecutive starts record
Twenty-one years ago, at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Ricky Rudd taught Jeff Gordon a lesson. It was Oct. 9, 1994, in what was then the Mello Yello 500, and Rudd was incensed at a “slide job” Gordon had used to pass Rudd’s No. 10 Tide Ford late in the race.

Fleeman captures Hartwell SECA Late Model victory
Russell Fleeman drove to the front of the SECA Late Model field Saturday night at Hartwell Speedway, and went on to pick up the feature victory at the 3/8 mile Hartwell, Ga. dirt track. Fleeman beat out Adam Partain to score the win.
