Hall of Fame drag racer Hubert Platt passed away early Saturday morning, according to a post on his Facebook page.

Russell Fleeman drove to the front of the SECA Late Model field Saturday night at Hartwell Speedway, and went on to pick up the feature victory at the 3/8 mile Hartwell, Ga. dirt track. Fleeman beat out Adam Partain to score the win.

Spin and win. That could easily sum up Denny Hamlin’s victory in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway.
