GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Daniel Galaviz scored on a free kick from 50 yards.out to provide Gainesville just enough for a 1-0 win over North Forsyth on Friday at City Park Stadium.
From there, the Red Elephants (2-0) got a solid defensive performance, led by Jacob Dimas and Jared Bonilla, to hold the Raiders (1-1) scoreless.
Gainesville coach Eli Viviant said "we still need to improve in several departments, but we are 2-0 after playing two solid teams."
Gainesville will be back in action against North Gwinnett on Wednesday at City Park.
