Dawson County's commuters can expect local lane restrictions and slight delays for the next two weeks along Burt Creek Road.
Paving work by Blount Construction is scheduled to start today (Tuesday, Sept. 3rd.) from Shoal Creek Road to north of State Route 136.
Dawson County Sheriff's Office social media posts say that drivers need to obey flaggers along the roadway, follow all signs and drive cautiously, to keep others in the Burt Creek Road area safe.
Lane restrictions and road paving projects are subject to weather conditions and could extend further past the two week projection period.
