The Gainesville Police Department found the body of a man who had previously been reported missing.
The remains of Kenneth Holland, 34, of Gainesville, were found in a remote area just off Pearl Nix Pkwy. in a deep ravine off Lake Lanier, the department said in a Facebook post Monday morning.
Holland went missing in the Tower Heights area off Pearl Nix Pkwy on Aug.18. He was believed to have been in an altered state of mind at the time of his disappearance.
Foul play is not suspected in the case.
