Authorities have released the name of the man who drowned in Lake Lanier on Sunday afternoon
Stone Mountain resident Jose Camarillo, 20, drowned in the swimming area of Margaritaville, located just off Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford.
Mark McKinnon of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division said Sunday evening that Camarillo's body was located by game wardens using side scan sonar and recovered by Hall County Fire.
