FLOWERY BRANCH — The Flowery Branch girls led from virtually start to finish in taking a 54-46 win over East Hall on Tuesday in Region 8-4A action.
The Lady Falcons (3-5, 2-0 Region 8-4A) opened with a 13-9 lead after the first quarter and took a 27-20 lead into halftime. They pushed the lead to 41-30 heading into the fourth quarter.
Ashlee Locke led Flowery Branch with 17 points. Bella Brick added 14 points and Deniya Randolph 10 for the Lady Falcons.
East Hall (4-3, 0-2 Region 8-4A) was paced by Maleah Harrison, Alexis Burce, and Callie Dale who all had 12 points.
East Hall is back in action on Friday playing host to Chestatee in another region battle.
Flowery Branch will play host to Jefferson on Thursday in a big region showdown.

Cherokee Bluff snapped a three-game losing streak with a Region 7-3A win on the road.
For West Hall (1-6, 0-3 Region 7-3A) it was its sixth straight loss.
Angelica Mallak paced the Lady Spartans with 10 points. Riley Harkin and Amber Hughes each had 8 points for West Hall.
The Lady Spartans next will travel to Oglethorpe County on Saturday.
Cherokee Bluff (3-5, 1-1 Region 7-3A) is off until playing host to White County on Monday in a region contest.

Jenna Reeves scored 20 points to lead the Lady Leopards (7-3) past Commerce on Tuesday. Jenna Reeves 20 pts.
Kamryn Grier added 12 points, and Hailey Seahorn netted 9.

Livi Blackstock and Deshona Gaither combined for 35 points to lead the No. 1 Lady Dragons past No. 10 Cedar Shoals on Tuesday at home.
