GAINESVILLE – Chestatee scored on the opening kickoff and never looked back in a 62-0 win over Johnson in Region 6-3A action Friday night.
Ben Plemons returned the opening kickoff 90 yards to get things started. He added two more rushing touchdowns in the first half. Yohann Reyna scored two touchdowns as well for the War Eagles as they took a 49-0 lead into halftime and scored two more times in the second half.
Chestatee will be off next week, while Johnson hosts Dawson County.
