Week 7 of high school football is now in the books, and region play is officially underway.
In Region 8-3A, Oconee County won a wild one at Cherokee Bluff, while Monroe Area got enough stops to take down East Hall. Jefferson took care of business against West Hall.
In 6-3A, North Hall asserted dominance in a shutout of Pickens, while Lumpkin County scored 31 unanswered in the second half to take down White County. GAC survived at Dawson County, while Chestatee beat Johnson.
Rabun County blew past Providence Christian in 8-A Division I, while Elbert County edged past Commerce.
