A high school teacher in Towns County was arrested on Wednesday for theft.

Adam Trotman, who is listed on Towns County High School’s website as a chorus and drama teacher, was charged with 10 counts of theft by taking.

The thefts against “various faculty and staff” reportedly began in the second week of August until his arrest on Wednesday.

A Facebook post from the Towns County Sheriff’s Office said he confessed to the crimes.

According to Trotman’s Facebook page, he was hired to the school system in July of this year.

AccessWDUN called the Towns County Jail and confirmed Trotman had bonded out.
