A small boat is being called a total loss after it caught fire on Lake Lanier in south Hall County Saturday afternoon.
Hall County Fire Captain Zachary Brackett said that crews were called to the scene at Van Pugh Park Campground near Flowery Branch at around 1:30. According to Brackett, three people who were on board the boat when it caught fire were apparently able to get off and board another boat and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown and no other details have been released.
