Three basketball games are set to tip off tonight around Northeast Georgia.
In the biggest game of the night, the Class 6A top-ranked North Forsyth girls (19-0, 9-0 Region 6-6A) will travel to Lambert (14-5, 8-1 Region 6-6A) in a battle for first place in Region 6-6A. The Lady Raiders beat Lambert on Dec. 10, 62-36, at Raider Arena.
The No. 9 Chestatee girls were supposed to host fourth-ranked White County on Wednesday in a pivotal Region 6-3A game. However, that game has been rescheduled for January 29.
The Flowery Branch boys were trying to host Walnut Grove Thursday, but Walton County School District would not allow the Warriors to travel due to concerns of icy road conditions.
