At an 8 p.m. press conference the GBI said 54-year-old Colin Gray knowingly allowed his 14-year-old son Colt to have the weapon allegedly used in the Wednesday shooting of Apalachee High School.
The GBI has arrested 54-year-old Colin Gray on Thursday in connection to the Apalachee High School shooting.
Colin is the father of 14-year-old Colt Gray, who is accused of shooting 13 people and killing four at Apalachee High School on Wednesday.
Colin has been charged with the following:

Four counts of involuntary manslaughter

Two counts of second-degree murder

And eight counts of cruelty to children
The arrest was made in coordination with Piedmont Judicial Circuit District Attorney Brad Smith.
This comes after Colt was charged with four counts of felony murder in connection to the shooting.
Colt is being held in the Gainesville Regional Youth Detention Center and additional charges are expected.
The GBI also reported that the autopsies of all four victims were performed at the GBI’s Medical Examiner’s Office.
This comes before Colt’s bond hearing on Friday at 8:30 a.m. that AccessWDUN will be at to cover.
