A truck driver was injured Monday afternoon after overturning his truck on GA 365 in Habersham County.
Georgia State Patrol officials said Tony L. Johnson, 32, of Statesboro was driving a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia south on GA 365.
Johnson was half a mile south of Tommy Irving Road at around 4:24 p.m. when he failed to maintain his lane, the vehicle struck the guardrail and overturned.
GSP officials said the GA 365 Southbound ramp was partially blocked.
Johnson was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Habersham with minor injuries.
The roadway was shut down for several hours while the cargo was unloaded and the tractor and trailer were set upright.
Johnson is charged with driving too fast for conditions.
