By AccessWDUN Staff

BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. – Union County took out some frustration Friday night as they ran past Towns County, 45-7.

The Panthers opened up the game with an 11-play drive capped off with a 4-yard touchdown run from Braylon Rader. Towns County fumbled the ensuing kickoff, setting up Union to convert a 15-yard touchdown pass from Caiden Tanner to Tyler Grasty and stretch the lead to 14-0.

After forcing a 3-and-out, the Panthers struck again on a pass from Tanner to Cade Dockery before Tannder and Grasty connected again for 50 yards to set up Rader to punch it in. Grasty reeled in one more touchdown pass, and Union led after the first quarter, 35-0.

Tanner capped his night with a 56-yard touchdown run before Rader plunged in from the one to highlight a big night scoring for Union County.

Tanner finished 13-of-15 passing for 205 yards and five touchdown passes. Grasty had four catches for 87 yards and a pair of scores, while Rader finished with 71 yards on just eight carries, tallying three total touchdowns.

Union County will host Armuchee next week.
