The Georgia Department of Transportation will temporarily close one lane on Interstate 985 northbound in Gwinnett County on Monday and Tuesday for emergency bridge repair.
According to a press release from the department, the right lane will be closed from mile marker zero to mile marker one following the I-985/I-85 split. The repair on I-985 will start at the split.
The closure will start Monday, April 10, and run through Tuesday, April 11, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., weather permitting.
Loads over 12 feet wide will be prohibited through the area during the lane closure.
Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
