A search is underway Saturday afternoon for a missing swimmer on Lake Lanier in Flat Creek.
Mark McKinnon, public affairs officer with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, said the individual jumped off a pontoon boat earlier Saturday and did not resurface.
McKinnon found out about the incident just after noon Saturday.
