Suwanee run-off vote names incumbent to city council seat

The incumbent has been named as the winner of Tuesday’s run-off vote in Suwanee to fill a city council seat. The run-off was between incumbent Peter Charpentier and David Martinez.

Though he had over 51% of the vote, Charpentier won by just 33 votes. He received 607 votes during Wednesday’s run-off, while Martinez had 574. This means Charpentier will be serving another four years, representing Post 5.

Candidates will be sworn in in January of 2022.
