Missing 15-year-old from Hall County returns home after more than six weeks

A Hall County teenager who disappeared from her home on Thursday, Sept. 17 is now back home.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office described Julisian Whisnant as a runaway. She returned home on Sunday, Nov. 1, according to information released by authorities. They did not say where she had been for the last six weeks.

A 15-year-old Gainesville girl has been missing from home for almost a week, and Hall County authorities are now asking for help from the public as investigators search for her.

Julisian A. Whisnant was last seen on Sept. 17 just before she apparently ran away from her home on Bald Eagle Trail.

Whisnant is 5'5", weighs 118 lbs., and she has brown hair and hazel eyes, according to investigators with the Hall County Sheriff's Office. She was last seen wearing blue tie-dyed shorts and a navy blue t-shirt with an American flag on it. She also has a nose piercing.

Anyone who might have information on the girl's whereabouts is asked to call Investigator Sinyard at 770-297-4697.
