The City of Gainesville Water Resources Department plans to close an intersection on Scotland Avenue in the city Wednesday and Thursday, weather permitting.
The portion of the road is the intersection of Scotland Avenue and Jesse Jewell Parkway.
The department issued a notice Tuesday afternoon, asking for commuters to drive carefully and watch for construction workers and equipment in the area.
