The Tigers fumbled the ball inside the 5-yard line in the third quarter and turned the ball over on downs twice deep in GAC territory on the night.

GAC got things started with a passing score in the first quarter, but the Tigers got right back as Cody McBrayer punched it in from two yards out to tie things up early in the second quarter. McBrayer scored again five minutes later to give the Tigers a 14-7 lead into halftime.

After a scoreless third quarter, GAC scored twice in eight minutes in the fourth to get the 21-14 lead, then intercepted a Tiger pass on the first play of the final drive to seal the win.

Dawson will travel to Johnson next week.
