Gwinnett County authorities still don't know the identity of a woman whose bones were found in a suitcase off I-985 last month, but detectives are releasing more details in the case, hoping to get some help from the public.
The lead detective assigned to the case has released descriptions of clothing found with the skeletal remains. A Friday morning press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department said the victim was wearing a black Miley Cyrus hoodie, size large, a pair of Victoria's Secret pants with the words 'Love Pink' on one leg, size small, and a pair of pink 2014 Nike Air Max Cage sneakers, size 7.
The Medical Examiner's Office has said the remains belong to a woman between 20 and 30 years old, but investigators have said they will look at any viable tips outside that age range. The ME said all of the bones were inside the suitcase, and the victim likely had been dead for about six months. At this point, there are no leads on the victim's identity.
A Georgia DOT worker found the remains in the suitcase on July 29 as a crew was working in a wooded area off the highway near the I-85 split.
