Virginia Ann Payne Jones, 82

Virginia Ann Payne Jones, age 82, of Auburn, GA passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Jones, Jr.; sons, Kenneth Matthew Davis, Jefferson Scott Davis.  Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Reuben Glenn Davis, Jr. of the Philippines; Kimberly (Freeman) Davis of Auburn, GA; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Herman Ray Payne of Nashville, TN; sisters, Nancy Irene Turner of Sugar Hill, GA, Fannie Marie Sanchez of Ohio.

Mrs. Jones was born on November 30, 1942 in McCaysville, GA.  She received her education at Sugar Hill School and was a manager with Wallace Enterprise.  Mrs. Jones was a member of Buford Church of God.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as with all of her family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Murphy and Rev. Ronnie Puckett officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital in memory of Virginia Payne Jones.
