Padgett Dawn Parker, 33

Padgett Dawn Parker, age 33, of Baldwin, reached her Heavenly Home on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Born on May 6, 1992, in Gainesville, she was the daughter of Rev. Michael and Barbara Jaworski Parker of Baldwin. Dawn was a student at Cornell University School of Law. She will be remembered for her servant’s heart, locally founding The LOVE Program, and serving on the Mountain Shadows Chapel Board.  She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Chad and Julie Parker; nieces, Emily Parker Garcia (Zach) and Melody Parker; special family friend who was like a grandfather, Jerry Miller; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her furbaby, Zeus.

Funeral services are 11 am on Friday, September 19, 2025, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire, with Rev. Michael Parker, Rev. Chad Parker, and Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the funeral home.
