Phyllis Agnes Thompson, 66

Phyllis Agnes Thompson, 66, of Alpharetta, GA died on March 28, 2012 at DeKalb Medical. Born in Chamblee, GA she was the daughter of the late Kells and Inez Phillips.

Phyllis was an active member of Brookwood Baptist Church. She loved to sew baby blankets for expectant mothers, fish and go camping. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Phyllis is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Larry Joe Thompson of Alpharetta, GA; children, Shannon David Thompson of Milledgeville, GA and Julie Anne Jones of Auburn, GA; brother, Billy (Peggy) Phillips of Cumming, GA; brother-in-law, Paul (Christine) Thompson of Alpharetta, GA; sister-in-law, Charlotte (Tyrone) Roberts of Cumming, GA; much loved grandchildren, Camen, Christian, Mikayla and Josslyn; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 31 at Brookwood Baptist Church. Rev. Donnie Nix, Rev. Gerald Richards and Rev. Ronnie Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 30 from 5:00
