Etta Powers, 96

Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00pm Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Dewberry #2 Baptist Church Cemetery for Etta Powers, age 96 of Gainesville who passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at The Bell-Minor Nursing Home. The Rev. Palmer Loggins will officiate. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 18th from 1:00-2:30pm.

Mrs. Powers was born February 1, 1913 in Macon County, N.C. to the late Charlie G. & Zadie A. Humphreys. She is preceded in death by her husband Roscoe Powers, daughter & son-in-law Annett & Wallace Erwin.

Mrs. Powers is survived by 1 grandson Shane Erwin, 1 great grandson, and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
